Zamora

Situation

Capital of the province of Zamora, in the northeast of the peninsula, at an altitude of 652 metres above sea level.

Its adjoining provinces are: Salamanca, León, Valladolid and Orense. It borders on Portugal to the west.

Surface area: 10.5 sq. km.
Population: 68,000 inhabitants.
