The capital city of Salamanca is an ideal place to acquire the best handcrafts of the province.

Among the most notable craft activities is the traditional charra filigree, gold and silverwork adornments with very peculiar shapes and styles (scallop shells, pendants, crosses and medallions); the local charro button is also typical.
