Crafts

The working of cork as well as leather goods are without doubt what characterise this land, although ironwork, carving and saddlery have always been cultivated. 

Independently of the shops and workshops, the Tuesday market still takes place in the city centre in the market area (a pedestrian and shopping precinct), where one can find the unusual, age-old handcrafts or sometimes custom-made objects to give our homes that token that only an artisan can confer.
