Crafts

Pots and pans are typically made by tinkers, a trade that has continued almost unaltered to this day, passed down to present-day craftsmen by family tradition. Large pots, frying pans, wire screen for braziers, together with other work in line with new times, such as ironwork in furniture and adornments.

Tanning is practised less, since there is only one tanner remaining of the many who worked in the town at the beginning of the 20th century, offering to the visitor leather clothing and hides.

Any of the typical sweets mentioned above, as well of course as a succulent piece of the dairy treat may be acquired in the towns shops or in the confectioners.
