Ruta de la Plata

Situation

Located on the left bank of the River Guadalquivir; although its most well known quarter Triana occupies the right bank of this navigable river that makes the city a river port. If we wish to specify its geographical position, it would have to be said that Seville is 37º Latitude North and 0º 51" Longitude East. It presides over a landscape of marshlands and its height above sea level being only 7.8 metres in the Plaza Nueva.

Its Mediterranean climate provides for mild winters and summers with some really hot days, to which the nearby Atlantic coast at only 90 km. affords an easy solution.
