The COOPERATION NETWORK OF TOWNS ON THE RUTA DE LA PLATA, in close collaboration with TURESPAÑA and the Autonomous Communities of ASTURIAS, CASTILE-LEÓN, EXTREMADURA AND ANDALUSIA, is proud to present this brochure in which you will find the resources that abound in this area of Spain thanks to the different proposals offered by Spanish tour operators: Heritage of Mankind cities, coastal routes, towns and cities boasting a cultural heritage alongside other cultural resources, rivers, reservoirs and wetlands, significant nature areas and landscapes (two National Parks and several Nature Parks) and sites of special ethnographic importance, in addition to an infinite array of complementary and alternative itineraries and routes.

Located in the west of the Iberian Peninsula, we offer you the opportunity to discover one of the most important and most attractive itineraries for travellers in Europe, with complete circuits as well as shorter stays and week-end breaks.

One of the novelties incorporated in this new edition are the language
tourisms deals for those who wish to enjoy this historic route at
the same time as they learn Spanish. There are also several options
for those who seek to discover the secrets of the Via de la Plata
