Museum of San Isidoro Museums, theaters

A visit to it is a must with its wonderful collection of codexes and the outstanding chalice of Doña Urraca and, most especially, the Panteón de los Reyes (Monarchs Pantheon), where the Kings and Queens of León are buried.

The entire Pantheon is magnificently polychromatic. Special mention must be made of a curious Calender in which the months of the year are made to coincide with the tasks that are carried out in each of them.
