Ruta de la Plata

Monesterio - Zafra (66 km)

Large villages alternate with extensive unpopulated spaces. There are abundant pasture lands dotted with holm oaks and, above all on the first stage of the route, you can see a large number of Iberian pigs roaming these dehesas. There is more and more farmland as you approach Zafra. The route is well signposted, but there are stretches where gates are to be found.
It is very important to carry a good supply of water, as this is a stage with practically no drinking fountains.
